Our project was started by the Heinrich-Heine-University in Duesseldorf, Germany and the University of Pretoria, South Africa, in 2016. Since 2020 the Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea is our third partner. The project is based on the collaboration of three lecturers who jointly organise the cross-site seminar, create new learning formats and develop innovative didactics and methodologies.
Witold Mucha is a senior lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences at the Heinrich-Heine-University in Duesseldorf, Germany. He holds a PhD in International Relations and Development Politics from the University Duisburg-Essen. His research interest is in peace and conflict studies.
Cori Wielenga is a senior lecturer in the Department of Political Sciences and the Deputy Director of the Centre for the Study of Governance Innovation at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She holds a PhD in Conflict Resolution and Peace Studies from the University of KwaZulu Natal. Her research interest is in the intersection of formal and informal governance and justice systems during transitions.
Ioannis Tellidis is an Associate Professor at the College of International Studies at the Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea. He holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. His research interest is in peace and conflict studies, terrorism and political violence and international relations.
